CARS:

1. Any year of car is allowed (no Imperials, Imperial sub frames, hearse, ambulance, trucks, vans, or sedagons, fresh or pre-ran).
2. 2003 and newer factory rack and pinion must be used; no adding steering from other cars.
3. A-arms must remain 2003-2011; swapping to stamped steel from cast is allowed but must be from the same family of car.
4. Bolt-in metal assemblies used to mount the engine are allowed but cannot tie to the frame in any way.
5. Factory aluminum cradle cannot be wrapped excessively; inspector’s decision will be upheld.
6. Must maintain a 1/2″ gap between the engine and the frame; cannot touch the frame.
7. Mounting points can be factory engine mounts and the two rack mounting studs; excessive mounting will result in cutting or loading.
8. No carburetor or DP protectors of any kind.
9. Engine and transmission swaps are allowed.
10. Lower engine cradle with a front plate of 1/2” max is allowed.
11. If running a pulley protector, the sway bar must be removed – it’s your choice.
12. You may use two chains or two 4x4x1/4 plates to secure the motor; plates can only be welded to the factory clamshells and frame.

BUMPERS:

1. OEM or aftermarket bumpers are allowed but must not be wider than 7” max; point no more than 14” (Chrysler pointy style is acceptable; no pushing the limits).
2. Bumper bracket may be welded in the factory location to the frame or use 4x10x1/4 plate from the back of the bumper outside of the frame only; no 14” factory bumper brackets on cars other than the ones they came on.
3. Three 4x6x1/4 plates per side of the frame are allowed; fixing rust counts as plates.
4. Only four 1” welds on the stock bumper bracket are allowed or to weld the shock inside the frame; welding is only allowed on doors, cage, plates, bumpers, bumper brackets, and rear end bracing at boxes (e.g., Crown Vics).

REAR ENDS:

1. Any OEM rearend with 8 lugs is allowed.
2. Braced rearends are acceptable.
3. Aftermarket axles are allowed.
4. Pinion brakes are allowed.
5. Must have stock control arms on the rearend, which may overlap 1″.
6. Bolt-in watts link brackets are allowed, but stock control arms must be used.
7. Slider driveline is allowed.
8. Aftermarket shifters, gas, and brake pedals are acceptable.
9. Transmission coolers are permitted.
10. Aftermarket steering, including hydraulic steering, is okay.
11. Up to 1” core support bolts (all thread) through the hood are allowed; must go through where the stock bolt was.
12. Core support spacers are limited to a maximum of 6” total.
13. Body mount bolts may be replaced with a 5/8 bolt or all thread (cannot pass through the frame); 4″ max plate on the top side only, no added body bolts.
14. Nine-wire, chain, or A-frame must be in the windshield A-frame out of angle iron with four 3/8 bolts.
15. Only allowed frame shaping is a rear arch 6-in from the center of the arch in both directions.
16. You may dimple the rear frame.
17. The front of the car cannot be higher than 22 inches from the bottom of the frame measured at the bumper, and the rear bumper cannot be lower than 16 inches to the bottom of the frame measured at the rear body mount.
18. Front upper control arms may be welded with two straps of 2x2x1/4 strap for holding suspension only.
19. The straps must be vertical and cannot be outside a-arm brackets.
20. No aftermarket tie rods; must be stock.
21. No aftermarket ball joints.
22. You may change coil springs to any OEM passenger car spring – front springs in the front, rear in the rear; no swapping locations.
23. No aftermarket spindles.
24. You may run store-bought spring spacers; no homemade spacers on top of the springs.
25. You may use one piece of 3/8 chain per side, one 1/2 bolt, one wrap to hold the coil spring in; may use two clamps per leaf spring.
26. You may use two 3/8 threaded rods with 3-inch wide straps bolted to the core support to hold the radiator in or two 2-inch wide max ratchet straps.
27. Only the lower stock engine mounts may be welded to the K-member; you may use two 1/2 thick 6×6 flat spacers to raise engines to clear steering components; may not exceed the rubber mount area; you may extend off the back of the K-member, but nothing excessive (1/2″ plate max – for example, SBC in Caddy Mopar).
28. No transmission protectors.
29. Any OEM crossmember may be used – must be bolted in, no welds; use 2x2x3/16 x 6-inch angle to bolt to crossmember welded to frame to bolt the crossmember in.
30. If Watts converted and you use the factory lower bracket, you may weld the stock bracket to the frame with no added metal (nothing but brackets) – either Watts conversion or factory, not both.
31. Stock control arms only may be cut and overlap 1″ as stated before.
32. Nine-wire vertical from the rear end to the frame per side – nothing through the body; four loops, eight strands together in the center twist only.
33. No skid plates of any kind.
34. If you run an LS, you may use conversion brackets of 3/16 max thickness; no gusset; 3-plate design; 4-point square cage only.
35. One down tube may be welded to the frame, a minimum of 4″ behind the inside front door seam (don’t push this or you will cut it completely out).
36. Maximum 62″ door bars, 6″ max on cage material; must be mounted horizontally and 6″ off the floor; gussets must be inside the 4-point.
37. May run a halo bar 6″ max, 10″ behind the back of the seat; may go to the frame.
38. Gas tank protector, 24″ max width, can be welded to the backseat bar; must have at least 2″ between it and sheet metal/speaker deck.
39. You may weld the rear bumper straight to the frame or follow rules for the front bumper if running stock.
40. You may weld the bumper bracket in the factory location to the frame, 4″ from the back of the bumper.
41. You can put four 1″ welds on the backside of the bumper bracket or to weld shocks (Crown Vics).
42. You may hard nose your car.
43. If you run old iron and the car did not come with shocks (example: 1971 Chevy), you may use a 1974-1976 Bop bracket mounted in the shock location, with stock bolts (only welding described above).
44. Any tire and wheel combo are allowed; beadlocks must be on the inside and no larger than 2″. Full centers are okay, but no gussets.
45. You can cut and tilt the boxes; no added metal whatsoever.
46. These rules will be enforced; inspector’s decisions are final.
